Head Start Coat drive event
Head Start hosted a winter coat drive on Dec. 8, at the Great Bend Public Library. Farmers Bank and Trust presented new winter coats to Head Start Preschool students following a musical performance. Forty-three coats were donated by the following businesses;: Farmers Bank and Trust; Sutherlands; Buckle; Playa Azul; Abbeys Carpet; Walmart; Head Start Staff members; and Gary and Angela Gray. The VFW donated the use of American Flags for the flag salute. Buckle donated gift boxes.
