Rigoberto Ramirez, MD, and Bruce Toby, MD, are accepting new patients at the St. Rose Medical Pavilion and Central Kansas Orthopedic Group, respectively.
Dr. Ramirez is a cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology, which focuses on irregular heart rhythms. He sees patients for general cardiology care as well as those with heart rhythm concerns.
Dr. Ramirez, who is fluent in Spanish and English, is a Great Bend native and is passionate about caring for people in his hometown.
“I am excited to serve the community that supported me throughout my upbringing,” said Dr. Ramirez. “Most importantly, I look forward to offering our Great Bend community additional quality cardiology services through The University of Kansas Health System.”
Dr. Toby has been a leader in pioneering clinical work and research at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City. He recently stepped down from his role as chair of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine there. He looks forward to continuing his practice with Randall Hildebrand, MD, and the rest of the care team at Central Kansas Orthopedic Group.
“Our community is fortunate to have a physician of Dr. Toby’s caliber to provide orthopedic and surgical services in Great Bend,” said Dr. Hildebrand. “His outstanding reputation and legacy of orthopedic surgery is well-known and we are happy to welcome him to Barton County.”
