The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place March 20 in Topeka. Thomas County on I-70, from approximately 2,356 feet east of the Sherman/Thomas county line east to the west edge of the wearing surface at Exit 45, milling and overlay, 10.3 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, $5,641,842.11.

Thomas on I-70, from 3.95 miles west of the K-25/I-70 junction east to 2.85 miles west of the K-25/I-70 junction (westbound driving lane only), milling and overlay, 1.1 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, $101,946.65.

Thomas on I-70, from approximately 2,356 feet east of the Sherman/Thomas county line east 10.29 miles to the west edge of the wearing surface of Exit 45, stockpile bituminous material, 10.3 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, $6,000.
