Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered (ABBB) is pleased to announce that Chris Halbleib, CPA and Nicole Zink, CPA recently achieved the CPA Green Belt certification with Lean Six Sigma.
“This certification is a testament to both Nicole’s and Chris’ dedication to their work and their clients,” said Brian Staats, CPA, managing partner at ABBB. “We extend sincere congratulations to both of them.”
To earn this certification, participants attend a week long training session to learn the principles of Lean Six Sigma and apply them in simulations. The participants are then required to facilitate a project at their workplace utilizing the concepts, techniques and project tools applicable to Lean Six Sigma.
These project tools are submitted to a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and graded, to ensure the concepts are being properly applied. Once approved by the Master Black Belt, the certification process is complete.
