Package Express opens in downtown Great Bend

R.B. Tellers, one of the seven MyTown LP stores in downtown Great Bend, has a new service that makes shipping packages more convenient for customers. Package Express recently opened inside of the business, which sells products manufactured by JanSport, Fuller Brush and Coleman. Package Express offers packaging, wrapping and UPS shipping services Tuesdays through Saturday at its convenient downtown location.
The shipping service is similar to what customers used to have with the UPS Store, located on 10th Street, Great Bend, which closed a few years ago,” explained MyTown general manager Tina Mingenback.
“We kept hearing from customers who said they missed having that store and so we decided to give them what they were asking for,” said Mingenback, general manager of MyTown. “R.B. Tellers is an eclectic mix with a variety of products for sale. There’s plenty of space to accommodate the shipping service, so this store provided a perfect fit.” 
Great Bend’s UPS Warehouse still offers shipping, but Package Express is an authorized UPS drop-off location, providing customers with additional and more flexible hours. Business hours for R.B. Tellers are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
Additionally, Package Express assists customers with their packaging and shipping preparation. For further convenience, the business offers prepaid account cards, and it sells shipping supplies. In an effort to “go green,” Package Express is accepting recycled shipping boxes and packing materials. People can donate boxes in good condition along with any packing materials during business hours.
