Pictured is Michael Mayhill, manager of Great Bend’s True Value Hardware, and Marlene Clayton, principal of St. Joseph Catholic School in Ellinwood. Last year, Mrs. Clayton applied for a grant from the True Value Foundations’ Painting a Brighter Future 2019 program. This past April, she received news that SJCS was awarded the grant of 30 gallons of paint. Teachers and parents will paint the school’s classrooms and library this summer.
