The Plains State Bank announces the addition of Amy Hofeling to its Great Bend Branch located at 800 Coolidge St. Hofeling will hold the title of vice president retail lender.

Hofeling has 13 years of consumer and commercial real estate lending experience. She will primarily focus on assisting customers with consumer and real estate needs.

In making the announcement, Christy Kuhn, executive vice president corporate management, said the bank is proud to attract Hofeling to this position. “We are looking forward to the partnership, experience, qualities, and background that Hofeling brings to Plains State Bank.”

Hofeling said she enjoys working in the banking industry and assisting customers with their banking needs.

“I have a passion for putting people in houses,” she said. “This started with selling and moving on to financing. I enjoy offering first-time home buyers’ guidance, available grants, and the best loan product for them. Homeowners can take advantage of current low interest rates by calling me to refinance, cash out on their equity or visit about a HELOC.”

Amy and her husband Bruce are longtime residents of Great Bend and are active in the Great Bend community.
