Six Rosewood Services employees achieved milestone anniversaries during 2014. Rosewood Services founder and executive director Tammy Hammond recognized them during the employee Christmas party last month.

Rosewood employees who reached 10-year anniversaries are Linda Burton, Debbie Larkin and Deb Smith. Employees celebrating five-year anniversaries are Edie Miller, Alex Hammond and Rebekah Willison.

“Our employees are our greatest resource at Rosewood Services and that is especially true of long-term employees because over a period of time, they become a daily constant in the lives of the people we serve,” said Hammond. “I appreciate their commitment to Rosewood and their efforts to making such a positive difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities.”

Linda Burton serves as a house lead and has been working in the Residential Department since coming to Rosewood more than a decade ago. Burton is well liked by the clients and guardians at the location where she works.

Debbie Larkin has held several jobs during her long career at Rosewood. Currently, she serves as senior health care coordinator, working in the Medical Department, where she started 10 years ago. Between now and then, she has also served as a targeted case manager and as a director of Vocational Services. Larkin also assists Rosewood Ranch by volunteering to help with Horse Shows.

Deb Smith has proven to be an invaluable asset for Rosewood during the past decade, working as a targeted case manager. Smith is also an eager volunteer who helps with many Rosewood activities, including Kids Day at the Ranch, and the Rosewood Rodeo.

Edie Miller began her career with Rosewood, working in Day Services and then transferring to the Medical Department. She found her niche, however, in the Residential Department and has been working with clients in that capacity for much of her career at Rosewood.

Alex Hammond started with Rosewood as a part-time employee but he has expanded his role during the past year, now working as a fulltime employee at Rosewood Ranch.

Rebekah Willison has been working in the Day Services Department since joining Rosewood more than five years ago. Working in various capacities, Willison is known for her daily smile and her dedication and encouragement to clients. Currently, she assists clients at Rosewood Studio, where they make Rosewood Creations products.
