Urgent care will be the featured topic when St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center personnel talk with visitors at this weekend’s Big Bend Bike Rally at the Great Bend Expo Complex.
“This is one of our new services at St. Rose and we want to share information about the benefits of our Urgent Care Center with all those who attend the bike rally,” said Mark Mingenback, St. Rose director of business strategy and marketing. “We have attended the last two years and it is a great venue for personal contact with many central Kansans.
“We will talk to as many people as we can about urgent care’s convenience and cost-effectiveness,” Mingenback added. “The center is open 24/7 and is always staffed by a physician.”
Once again, St. Rose will sponsor its grip-strength competition, which has been a popular event at past rallies. Winners in the men’s and women’s divisions each will win a flip-cam.
In addition, bandanas and magnets will be handed out to anyone who stops by the St. Rose booth. Both items will contain information about urgent care.
The bike rally gates open at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
