Straub International to close Marion location
gbtribune news

Straub International leadership recently announced the impending consolidation of its Marion location into the agricultural equipment dealer’s remaining locations.
Larry Straub, Straub CEO, said as the agricultural industry has shifted, a general slowing of business made this difficult decision necessary.
“Unfortunately, we had to make this decision to increase efficiency in our other locations,” said Straub. “The Marion store is surrounded by three other Straub locations that will begin to serve our Marion customers.”
Straub International has remaining locations in Hutchinson, Salina, Wichita, Pratt and Great Bend. For more than 40 years, the company has provided farm and ranch necessities and excellent service to the agricultural community.
“This decision was extremely difficult, especially considering the high regard we have for all the communities we serve,” said Straub. “With this change, our goal is to help Straub International adjust to the current market and continue our mission to serve customers.”
Straub added that the company recognized that the consolidation may cause difficulty for employees. Many employees will have the option to transfer to another location, or will receive assistance to move in a different direction.
