Zamarripa joins firm in Garden City

GARDEN CITY — Jaron Zamarripa, formerly of Great Bend, has joined the professional staff of Lewis, Hooper & Dick LLC, a certified public accountant firm in Garden City.

Gary Schlappe, CPA and managing member/owner of the firm, said Zamarripa will provide audit and tax services to the firm’s clients in his role as staff accountant.

"We feel Jaron is an important addition to our team," Schlappe said. "His skills and enthusiasm are great assets to our client relationships."

Zamarripa graduated from Great Bend High School in 2006 and from Fort Hays State University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, with an emphasis in financial planning. In college, he served as treasurer for Alpha Kappa Psi and treasurer for Hispanic American Leadership Organization. He currently resides in Garden City with his wife Amy.

His parents are Gary and Marya Brenner of Beeler, and Mike and Linda Zamarripa of Rancho Cordova, Calif.
