To help eliminate a backlog created by the Barton County Health Department dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, Interim Health Director Karen Winkelman said they are dedicating all of Wednesday to provide immunizations only. 

“I feel like that is an area that we have really had to put to the side during all of this,” she said. “It will be all staff on deck for that.”   

The immunizations will be available by appointment only. 

The hours on Wednesday are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Call 620-793-1902 for information.

The department is located at 1300 Kansas Ave., Great Bend.
