A group of Cottonwood – Barton 4-H youth recently participated in 4-H Horse Panorama in Salina. According to 40H Youth Development agent Michelle Beran, the 4-H Horse Panorama encourages young people to develop knowledge of equine-related subject matter. The contests develop alertness, self-confidence, and knowledge in a competitive setting, surrounded by an attitude of friendliness and fairness. The educational experience is great for both the participant and spectator.
