Connie Carlton invited the Alpha Kappa Master chapter to a light luncheon on Dec. 9.

Following the luncheon, a short business meeting was conducted and included communication from Beta Sigma Phi International concerning budget cuts and a chapter survey. The Beta Book drill was on transfers into the chapter. The service committee reported a total of 53 bears given to a local preschool for the monthly theme on “Bears.” A Mizpah Farewell Ritual was held for Margaret Larson who is moving to Texas. The program was presented by Carlton entitled “The Cobbler’s Visitor” followed by the yearly gift for secret sisters.

Dessert was served during the social hour. 

The next meeting will be on Jan. 13, time and place to be announced by Merlene Baird.
