Eudale and Magdalene Brack of Otis will celebrate their 65th anniversary with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis, located at 200 West Ellen Street. Family and friends are invited to celebrate with them. The couple requests no gifts.
Magdalene Tuzicka and Eudale Brack were united in marriage on Sept. 12, 1945 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis. Eudale is the son of the late Herman E. and Alma Brack. Magdalene is the daughter of the late Adolph and Minnie Tuzicka. Eudale was a self-employed carpenter and farmer and the Mayor of Otis for 33 years. Eudale ad Magdalene owned and operated the Otis Cafe for over 30 years. They are both now retired. The couple has two children, Roger Brack and wife Sharon and Darla Hanks and husband Terry, all of Otis; three granddaughters, LaChelle and Ryan Fitzmorris, and Shawna Hanks, all of Hays and Shannon Brack and Lee Wilburn of Great Bend; and a great-grandson, Declan Fitzmorris.
