Doyle and Gwen Cook of Great Bend will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a reception and card shower for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 2, at Cedar Park Place Community Room, 17th and McKinley.
Gwen Bihlmaier and Doyle Cook were married on Aug. 1, 1954, at the EUB Church, Harlan. The couple has three daughters, Jana and husband Tom Murray and Sheryl Mauler, both of Great Bend and the late Rhonda Doobs and son-in-law Dallas Dobbs, of Keller Texas; nine
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
