Tom and Carolyn Humburg will celebrate their 40th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 11 in the parlor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be their children and grandchildren, Charlotte Humburg; Richard, Amanda, Adleigh and Ashlee Humburg; and Sara Humburg. The couple request no gifts.
Carolyn Dirks and Tom Humburg were united in marriage on March 12, 1972, at Peace Lutheran Church in Albert, KS.
