Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Karst will celebrate their 75th anniversary with an  open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 16, at Country Place Living, 259 W. 6th in Hoisington. Hosts for the event will be their daughters and families, Bonita and Merlin Ney and Brenda and Frank Riedl. The couple has six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Frieda Mai and Robert Karst were united in marriage on Nov. 20, 1938, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger. They made their home in rural Barton County until retiring and moving to Russell in 1993, and then moving to Country Place Living in 2012.
