Ron and Bonnie Mink, formerly of Great Bend, will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a celebration at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 at Springfield Botanical Center in Springfield, Mo. Hosts for the event will be their children, Jessica Nelson and husband Andy of Great Bend and Detective Grant Mink and wife Aubrey of Topeka. The couple has four grandchildren, Emilee Nelson, Victoria Nelson, Scarlet Mink, and Ivy Mink.
Bonnie Miller and Ron Mink were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 1972. Ron is retired from USD 428 where he was the band director and instrumental music coordinator for over 20 years.
