Sheldon and Kristie Peacock of Great Bend will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Dec. 27 with a card shower.
Kristie Kirkman and Sheldon Peacock were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 1971 in Great Bend. Sheldon is employed by the Kansas Department of Transportation and Kristie is employed by Telecommunications, both in Great Bend. They have two daughters, Amy Truan and husband Galen of Lincoln, Neb. and Shelly Bullard and husband Bill of Great Bend; and two grandchildren, Reese Bullard and Kelson Bullard, both of Great Bend.
