Wayne Sr. and C. Joan Rathbun will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Feb. 14 with a card shower.
C. Joan Easdon and Wayne Rathbun Sr. were united in marriage on Feb. 14, 1954 at the Christian Church on Broadway and Stone in Great Bend. Wayne was the owner and operator of JW Trucking, Inc. until his retirement. Joan was employed by Becker Tire until her retirement. They had four children, Charlotte Rowe of Enid, Okla., Cheryl Lawson of Casa Grande, Ariz., Wayne Rathbun Jr. and wife Connie of Great Bend and Christina Rathbun of San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
