Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Sharon Smolik of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a card shower. A surprise celebration will be held at a later date.
Sharon Galliart and Robert Smolik were united in marriage on Nov. 28, 1964, at St. Rose Catholic Church, in a ceremony officiating by Father Donald Fiedler. Robert was employed by the City of Great Bend. Sharon was employed at Waters True Value. Both are retired. The couple have a daughter, Darla Stroud and husband Gene, of Great Bend; and two granddaughters, Jamie and Jessika Stroud.
