Jerry and Merlyn Stoecklein of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone. Hosts for the event will be their sons , Karl Stoecklein of Houston, Tx. and Alan Stoecklein of Olmitz and their niece LeaAnn Leroy.
Jerry Stoecklein and Merlyn Fischer were united in marriage on Aug. 20, 1960 at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend. Jerry is retired and Merlyn is employed by Stickney Distributing, Inc.
