Leo and Loretta Baum of Hoisington will celebrate their 70th anniversary on Dec. 12 with a card shower.

Loretta Cronn and Leo Baum were united in marriage on Dec. 12, 1949, in Russell. The couple has five children, Leo and Vicky Baum of Rusk, Texas, Gordon and Karen Baum of Buchannan, W.V., Joe and Ginger Cotten of Hoisington, Brenda Roat of Hoisington, and the late Leota Hekele; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
