Betty Huenergardt of Winfield, formerly of Rush and Ness counties, will celebrate her 90th birthday with family and friends.
Betty was born on Jan. 21, 1928, to Otto and Ellen (Arnold) Oetken Sr., in Albert. On Aug. 31, 1957, she married Maurice Huenergardt in Raton, N.M., He passed away on May 19, 2004. Her children and spouses are Sharon and Ron Fuller of Wichita, Gwen Huenergardt of Carpinteria, Calif.; Maureen Huenergardt of Great Bend; and Heidi Huenergardt and Darin Blake of Winfield. She has one grandson, Blake Beach Huenergardt Wareham.
