Iva “GiGi” Behrens of Great Bend will celebrate her 90th birthday with a reception from 2-5 p.m. on Jan. 15, at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Avenue. Hosts for the event will be her children, Cheryl Naugle and Jyl Nokes and her granddaughter-in-law Kathy Nokes.
Iva was born on Jan. 13, 1927, in Larned. She married Roy Behrans. He died on Dec. 26, 2000. A resident of Great Bend, formerly of Albert, she is a homemaker. She has two daughters, Cheryl Naugle (and the late Phillip Naugle) of Salt Lake City, Utah and Jyl Nokes and husband Arlan of Great Bend; four grandchildren, Austin Nokes and wife Kathy of Albert, Colby Nokes and wife Stacia of Rosamond, Calif, Mark Naugle of Salt Lake City, Utah and Shawn Naugle and wife Katie of Jacksonville, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren, Lea Nokes, Ella Nokes, Cole Nokes, Kennedy Nokes and Maggie Naugle.
