Olga Welch will celebrate her 100th birthday with a reception and buffet dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Cedar Park Place Community Center. Hosts for the event will be her children, Jim Welch and David Welch, both of Great Bend, Paul Welch of Pueblo West, Colo. and Kathy Welch Porter of Topeka. Friends are invited to attend.
Olga Welch was born on Jan. 25, 1914 in Coffeyville. She married Jim Welch. He died in 2001. She was employed as a nurses aide at Central Kansas Medical Center until retiring in 1976.
