Richard Bollig will celebrate his 95th birthday on June 20th.
A Staff Sergeant from 1941 to 1945 he was in the 159 Infantry serving in Rhineland, Central Europe and the Aleutian Islands. In  Nov. 1949, he married Edith Herrman. The couple has two children, Sylvia Billinger and husband Pete of Great Bend and Dale Bollig and wife Connie of Moore, Okla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
