Steve Reif of rural Odin will celebrate his 90th birthday on Oct. 4, 2017, with a card shower.
Steve was born Oct. 4, 1927, to Stephan and Rosa (Hoffman) Reif of Beaver. He married Mildred Schneider of Olmitz on Aug. 30, 1950. Steve and Mildred are retired from farming.
The couple have four children, Melvin and Sammie Reif of Ellinwood, Raymond and Anne Reif of Great Bend, Janet and Gary Rapp of Great Bend, and Theresa and Patrick Trapp of Hays; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
