Theresa Ney, formerly of Hoisington, now residing at the Golden Living Center in Wilson, will celebrate her 97th birthday on Aug. 8 with a card shower. The widow of Kenneth Ney, her children are Merlin of Russell, Kenney of Hoisington, Kathy Hutton of Denver, Colo., and Shirley Ney of Aurora, Colo. She has eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
