Wanda Kitchen Plautz will celebrate her 90th birthday with a dinner for family and friends at noon on Oct. 8, 2017, at the Salem United Methodist Church of rural Bushton.
Hosts for the celebration will be her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and great-nephews.
Wanda was born on Oct. 7, 1927, in Frederick to Elda and Gracie Kitchen. On Jan. 27, 1946, she married Roger Plautz. He passed away on Oct. 28, 2015, just three months before their 70th wedding anniversary. Wanda was an active worker on their farm and continues to be an active worker in her church.
