William Edgar Sturtz will celebrate his 80th birthday on June 24, with a card shower.
William was born June 24, 1934, in Shattuck, Okla. to Bill and Roselea Sturtz. He graduated from Shattuck High School. He graduated from Sterling College and received his master’s degree from Fort Hays State University. On Sept 1, 1955, he married Grace Ringering. She died on Dec 11, 2000. Edgar has four children, Debbie (John) Typaldos of Nixa, Mo., Karen (Daniel) Bohn of Ellinwood, Stephanie (Randy) Lafreniere of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Tevye (Dani) Sturtz of Ellinwood; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
