McPHERSON — The McPherson Opera House welcomes the fabulous Blackwood Quartet for their presentation of “The Gospel Side of Elvis” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 9. 

Incredible songs, amazing stories, and the history of a legend all come together in one inspirational, uplifting show. 

The Blackwood Family is the first family of gospel music, winning eight Grammy Awards and 27 Dove Awards while selling over 60 million albums. The Blackwood Quartet is uniquely positioned to present the gospel music Elvis loved best. Elvis, in fact, wanted to sing with the Blackwoods, but Sun Records signed him to a contract and the rest, as they say, is history.
