Dale E. and Mildred D. Burroughs of Ellinwood will celebrate their 65th anniversary on July 7, 2022, with an open house and card shower. The open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. on July 10 at The Gather in Ellinwood. Hosts for the event will be their children Dana and Jerry Pfanenstiel of Scott City, their five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The couple have a deceased son, David W. Burroughs. 

Mildred Trimble and Dale Burroughs were united in marriage on July 7, 1957, in Ellinwood. Dale is retired from home improvement and as a school bus driver. Mildred is a retired school administrative assistant.
