LINDSBORG — The Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery, 401 North First Street in Lindsborg, will host a concert featuring the Sunflower Trio at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Formed in 2002, the group performs music featuring voice, violin and keyboard. Consisting of tenor Matthew Schloneger, violinist Rebecca Schloneger and pianist/organist Kenneth Rodgers, the group has an eclectic repertoire ranging from Bach to Broadway to bluegrass. The trio is also a family affair, Matthew and Rebecca are husband and wife, and Kenneth is Matthew’s uncle. The trio has performed extensively throughout the United States as a part of the Kansas Arts Commission and Mid-America Arts Alliance touring rosters.
