Daegan Johnson

Student Library Assistant Hytomi Nuno will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Daegan Johnson.

Daegan is a senior at EHS. His family members are his mom and dad, Danielle and Corey French; brother, Devyn Johnson; and sister, Aubree French. “Columbine” is Daegan’s favorite book, because it tells the students’ accounts of the struggles and aftermath of the Columbine high school massacre.

His favorite quote is, “It is our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” — Aristotle. The teacher’s ability to work one on one with you, so you can understand something if you didn’t before, is Daegan’s favorite thing about EHS. Daegan’s advice to underclassmen is to try all the things you can and never turn down a new experience, even if you are hesitant. Daegan plans to go to Barton for a year for his associates and then run his own business. We wish Daegan a great year in his senior chapter!
