Printing issues delay Wednesday Tribune
The Great Bend Tribune could not be printed Tuesday night and therefore no papers were delivered Wednesday, Publisher Judy Duryee announced. Subscribers can access the full electronic version of Wednesday’s Tribune online at www.gbtribune.com and the printed version will be delivered along with the Friday paper.

LARNED — Glenna Melkus welcomed all the members of the chapter to the April 10 meeting.
An update on member status has been received from Beta Sigma Phi, International. The Beta Book Drill was on Parliamentary Procedure. Sign-up sheets were completed for the coming year for hostesses, committees, and programs. Thank you notes were read from Connie Carlton and Kjersti Martinas. Reports were given on the March Mystery trip to Sterling, donations to the local Food Buddy program, and desserts for the Mike Snyder fundraiser.
Laureate Beta Nu will host the annual Founders Day Celebration “We Put Our Hearts Into It” on Monday April 24, 6:30 pm at Glory Be. The Girl of the Year award will be presented as well as the 50th Golden Ritual for Alice Clapsaddle. Patty Smith will review the chapter’s activities.
Patty Smith presented the program on the Easter Lily and Wadonna King won the door prize, an Easter Lily. The May 8 meeting will be in the home of Connie Carlton with the Mother’s Day Committee presenting the program. Installation of Officers, Program of the Year Award, and the Order of the Rose Ritual for Glenna Melkus will be observed. Refreshments were served by the hostess during the social hour.
