The American Legion Auxiliary is inviting the women in the area to their annual Membership Drive to be held Monday, October 11 at 1011 Kansas. The pre-dinner reception is from 6 until 6:30 p.m. At this time we urge you to get your membership updated as well as welcome new inquiries about joining the American Legion Auxiliary. Dinner will be buffet style starting at 6:30 p.m. with Chaplain Jeannie Munsch leading us in prayer. Dinner provided by your A.L. A. Officers and Committee Chairwomen.
We will be Honoring our dear friend and Auxiliary Historian, Dorothy Essmiller. Walk down memory lane with us as we look back over the years with our Unit 180, Dorothy was very proud to make these books and encouraged us to take time to look them over.
A presentation will be made in honor of Dorothys service to God and Country and the American Legion Auxiliary. We welcome Dorothys friends and family to join us for the evening or at 7:30 p.m. for the presentation.
The American Legion Auxiliary is open to all women and young girls with a military service family member under the proper time line. We will have that and more information available for you in the front lobby. A one time yearly due in the amount of $20 can be paid at this time.
Also, if you are a motorcycle enthusiast you can qualify to join the American Legion Riders. If you have questions about this program see us in the front lobby.
