Barton County 4H Air Rifle competes at Pawnee County Shoot Out

On March 9, Barton County 4H members in the 4H air rifle project traveled to Larned to compete in the Pawnee County 4H Shootout. There were 36 shooters representing seven counties from across Kansas.
In the 7 to 8 year old division, Landen Hammeke from Great Bend placed 1st. Caden Rowan from Ellinwood placed 2nd.
In the 9 to 11 year old division, Will Clark from Great Bend finished 1st. Dalton Dicks from Great Bend placed 2nd. Brady Wharton from Great Bend finished 3rd. Logan Hammeke from Great Bend finished 6th.
In the 12 and 13 year old division, Katelyn Reh from Ellinwood finished 2nd. Parker Smith from Great Bend placed 3rd. Kyle Clasen from Great Bend finished 5th.
In the 14 and older age division, Ryan Kohman from Great Bend finished 3rd. Lake Lyman from Ellinwood placed 5th. Also competing in this division was Jake Kohman from Great Bend and Caleb Straub from Great Bend.
The Barton county team of Ryan Kohman, Katelyn Reh, Parker Smith and Lake Lyman placed 1st.
The team travels to Gray county on March 23rd for their next competition.
