The Barton County Historical Museum and Village will conduct an Orientation Meeting at 1 p.m. on April 7 at the Village south of the river bridge on Highway 281. The meeting is for anyone in Barton County who seeks information about volunteer service at the museum. This meeting will help volunteers, new or returning, to become acquainted with life at the Village and to learn more about the new happenings and the many new displays at the museum.
The Museum and Village will change to summer hours beginning Tuesday, April 12 through Sunday, Nov. 6. The hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The Village is closed on Mondays. Winter hours will resume at the Museum and Village after Nov. 8.
The meeting will feature a short orientation and information about past and current happenings at the museum. Refreshment will be served.
