The Prairie Godmothers, a group of “women helping women” in Barton County, wanted to give an extra blessing to the women that have already been helped this past year. The board met Nov. 7 at the Golden Belt Community Foundation office and agreed to further help those women this holiday season with gift cards to Ellinwood Packing Plant. Women can treat themselves and their families to a variety of meats, cheeses, pies, and sweets.
“Everyone is worth receiving the gift of love!” said Sue Cooper, program coordinator at the GBCF.
