The Great Bend City Slickers 4-H Club met on Oct. 11. Six members, on leader, five parents and one guest were present. Roll call was answered by a favorite color. Election of officers results were announced: President, Caleb Maneth; Vice President, Joshua Crawford; Secretary, Nicole Likes; Treasurer, Kyle Rziha; Reporter, Audrey Likes; Song Leader, Analah Crawford and Rziha; Recreation, Schecks; Parliamentarian, Stephen Crawford; VIP Charles and Inga Atkinson. Joshua Crawford presented a demonstration of woodworking and Stephen Crawford demonstrated Parliamentarian. The club will hang a banner at Orschlen’s and the Like’s family will present table favor’s for the nun’s in October. Achievement Celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 at Barton Community College. Enrollment cards are due on Dec. 1st.
The next meeting will be a Thanksgiving dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the Presbyterian Church. Stephen Crawford will present a talk on Health and Safety.
