The Great Bend Area Panhellenic is a local organization for alumni of the Greek sororities belonging to the National Panhellenic Conference. One objective of the group is to promote interfraternity, friendship and collaboration among Greek alumni. If anyone has recently moved to Great Bend and would like to be included on the email list, please send your email address to tinahiss@cox.net. Current members are reminded to send any updated information to receive electronic mailings.
The second objective is to promote Greek life by providing informational meetings about rush and assisting with initiation fees for any initiate in the Great Bend area. The funds raised by hosting annual craft fairs in the past are now being used to help defray initiation costs for young women joining NPC sororities. Any Barton County high school graduate may request more information by contacting Tina Hiss at 620-617-4255.
This fall the following girls received financial compensation: Ashtin Heath, WSU, Gamma Phi Beta; Allison Neeland, KU, Alpha Delta Pi; Morgan Kaiser and Cheyanne Sanders, both at KSU, Gamma Phi Beta.
