The Parnasses Club met on Oct. 8, at the home of Chari Manry with seven members in attendance. The Spring music auditions were discussed and more information will be forthcoming.
The group mourns the loss of their longtime member and dear friend, Mary Lou Fryberger. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
The membership submitted names for a prospective member guest day next month. The Vice President will contact these people and invite them to attend.
The program was presented by Chari about the life of Woman Composer, Cecile Chaminade, a Parisian born composer of the late 19th century. We will continue this series of Woman composers next month at the home of Sharon Jones.
