League of Women Voters of Great Bend will meet at noon on Tuesday at Classic Inn.
The program will be presented by Charles Perkins, technology instructor from Barton Community College. He will present a lesson on the deep web and the dark web, what to do and what not to do. He will show examples of what may be offered on the websites and the effects of the websites. He will talk about the origins of the websites, how their purposes have changed, and if anything can be done about them. The floor is open to questions.
Lunch will be available from the buffet or menu. Meetings are open to the public. League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance. Membership is open to men and women.
