Pilot Club
Robin Cain, Darlene Mathers, members of the Project Committee of the Pilot Club, Cathy Estes, Infant Mental Health Mentor Coordinator, Sunflower Early Education Center, Jean Cavanaugh, member, and Sharon Mauler, Project Coordinator, present a check to purchase tools to enhance early intervention services at Sunflowers Early Education Center (serving children from birth to age 3 with special needs). Two Kindles will be used to promote interactive communications, Kaufman Apraxia Kit and Cards will help to build motor-speech coordination for children with apraxia of speech, and Board Maker Plus, a computer program to assist with customizing communication symbols and premade activities. The Pilot Clubs vision is to achieve awareness and prevention of brain-related disorders and disabilities.
