The Progress Club met on Dec. 5 at the home of Patricia Halbower with Becky Dudrey as co-hostess. There were 15 members present.
Instead of exchanging Christmas presents members gave monetary donations to the Military Moms, a local group that sends boxes to our servicemen.
Members discussed the May field trip but did not determine the location pending further study.
Patricia Halbower then gave a program on the origin of many of our Christmas traditions.
The Jan. 2 meeting will be held at Perkins; Curtis Wolf of the Wetlands will present the program.
