Progress Club met on Nov. 5 at the home of Kathy Schugart. Pat Klusener and Rosemary Herrmann served as co-hostesses. There were 20 members in attendance.
David Barnes, the curator of Shafer Art Gallery, presented the program, “News from the Shafer Art Gallery”. He stated that the goal of the gallery is to be a vital part of the community by stitching together the past with the future. He also gave an overview of the exhibits that are planned for the next year starting with the festival of trees that is planned for December.
The next meeting will be on Dec. 3 at the home of Patricia Halbower, assisting her will be Norma Ward and Donna McAllaster.
