The Progress Club met on December 3 at the home of Patricia Halbower with 20 members and one guest in attendance. Norma Ward and Donna McAllaster were the co-hostesses.
Jeanne Gotsche was welcomed as a new member and Carol McIntyre was introduced as a guest.
Members voted to continue the tradition of making donations to the Military Moms and a collection was taken up to benefit the organization.
Dr. Dusty Jones was the guest speaker, he spoke of his job duties as a forensic pathologist for Barton County.
