Great Bend USD 428 Superintendent Khris Thexton will present the program at the next League of Women Voters of Great Bend meeting, at noon Tuesday, April 11, at the Classic Inn.
He will discuss the state of Kansas schools as affected by financing issues, and any other questions that come before him.
The public is invited to attend all League meetings, which include informal question-and-answer time. Lunch is available from the buffet or the menu.
Meetings and membership are open to men and women. League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance.
